Dr. Crystal Jacobs is originally from Norfolk, Virginia, with ancestral ties to Native American communities and deep roots in southeastern North Carolina. Recently appointed to the board of the National Honor Society for Leadership and Success, Dr. Jacobs is a passionate advocate for lifelong learning. Inspired by her daughter, Carrington, she began writing children’s books to ignite joy and enthusiasm for literacy and learning in young readers.
